Fall off the bone restaurant style ribs in 45 mins.
BBQ Ribs
Ingredients
1 Rack Baby Back or Spare Ribs (~1.5-2lbs)
1 Cup Water
3 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1/2 Tsp Liquid Smoke
1/4 Cup BBQ Sauce
Rub:
1 Tbsp Brown Sugar
1/2 Tbsp Smoked Paprika
1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Kosher Salt
1/2 Tsp Chili Powder
1/2 Tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 Tsp Onion Powder
1/4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
Instructions
Rinse the ribs and pat them dry. Remove the shiny membrane on the back with a butter knife.
Stir the rub ingredients together in a bowl. Generously coat all sides of the ribs.
Put the trivet in the instant pot. Add the water, apple cider vinegar, and liquid smoke.

Baby back ribs: 23 mins + 5 mins natural release. Increase to 25 mins for multiple racks.
Spare ribs: 35 mins + full natural release (~15mins).
Place the ribs on a pan covered in tinfoil and brush them with BBQ sauce.
Put the ribs in the oven and broil for ~2mins to caramelize the BBQ sauce. Be careful or the ribs will burn.
